Dr. Ring-Ding

Dr. Ring Ding, whose real name is Richard Alexander Jung ( born June 2, 1970 in Münster ) is a German ska, reggae and dancehall artist.

Life and career

Young lives in Germany, but spent part of his childhood in France, his mother's homeland. At the age of six, he began to play the recorder and later switched to the trumpet and then to the trombone. Jung played from 1981 to 1989 in the brass choir of St. Mark's Church in Münster.

In 1987, he joined the ska band El Bosso & die Ping Pongs - under the name of Prof. Richie Senior trombone and second front-man for. Christmas 1992 he founded the band Dr. Ring-Ding & The Senior Allstars, which broke up in October 2002. Dr. Ring Ding et al is known for its in typically Jamaican style Chanting, Toasting called.
