Dragan Jočić

Dragan Jočić (Serbian Драган Јочић; * 1960 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian politician and worked from 2004 to 2008, Minister Vojislav Kostunica Serbian Interior Minister.

Jočić studied at the Belgrade Law Faculty. He is a member of the Democratic Party of Serbia ( DSS) since its inception. Jočić is the party vice-president and a member of the executive of the party. Since 2000 he has been a deputy in the Parliament of Serbia and City Council member from Belgrade.

With his appointment as Minister of the Interior, the media reported that he was involved with 21 years at a kiosk for burglary and six months in prison. He confirmed the reports, calling them but irrelevant and stated that he had been young and all young people would have done similar things.
