Dragoncharm

The Basilisk ( original English title Dragoncharm ) is a fantasy novel by British author Graham Edwards. The protagonists of the story is consistently around dragons or other fantastic creatures. The Basilisk is the first part of the saga of the end of the magic dragon. The German version was published in 1996 Bastion - Luebbe.

Action

The basilisk tells the story of a young Fortune, a representative of the new breed of dragons that have no more magic. He befriends with the magic dragon Cumber. Together, the unlikely pair falls into an adventure in which they explore the changing world and the retreat of the magic out of it.

Namesake of the novel is an ancient immortal and evil creature that has awakened from his sleep. It can not die, and his rest was disturbed.
