The Dranse Delta
The Dranse is a mountain river in France, which runs in the Haute- Savoie, in the Rhône -Alpes. It is produced by the union of its two source rivers Dranse d' Abondance and Dranse de Morzine, in the municipality of La Forclaz. The Dranse drained generally northwest and flows for a distance of about 10 kilometers in the municipality of Evian -les- Bains in Lake Geneva. At its mouth the Dranse forms a small river delta, which is a nature reserve. The delta has an area of 53 hectares. In the vicinity of the delta lies the small French wine region Crépy.
