Dransfeld Municipal Forest

The Dransfelder urban forest is an up to 480 m high Mittelgebirgszug in the district of Göttingen, South Lower Saxony ( Germany ).

Although its name suggests that it constitutes an urban forest, it represents a small, wooded and fairly high mountain range, the. Approximately half the air line between Göttingen in the Northeast and Hann Munden in the southwest, east of Bramwalds and just south of Dransfeld is. Through the western foothills of the Dransfelder City Forest, which is located in the northern part of the Natural Park Munden, leads a section of B3.
