Drassi

The Drasi is a liberal Greek party, which was founded on 17 March 2009.

Founding members of the party include Stefanos Manos, Vasilis Kondogiannopoulos, Giannis Boutaris, Thanos Veremis, Konstantinos Markoulakis, Alexandros Tombazis, Nikos Dimou. The founding declaration to be signed in Greece has the function of supporting signatures, was signed by 600 citizens. Hurdle for official recognition as a party in national elections was skipped.

The party is a member of the Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, and is represented by one member of the party in the European Parliament.

The party took the first time in 2009 participated in the European elections. She received 38 895 votes, or 0.76 percent. Top candidate was Stefanos Manos. In the parliamentary elections in Greece May 2012, the party was 114 094 votes (which were 1.80 percent) together account for.
