Drassodes
Drassodes sp.
Drassodes is a genus of spiders from the family of smooth belly spiders ( Gnaphosidae ). In Central Europe, there are eight species of this genus, the most common representatives in Germany is Drassodes Lapidosus.
The species are mostly yellow-brown to brown in color and are thus similar to the representatives of the genus Clubiona, but from which they differ by the long, tubular spinnerets, a family feature of the Gnaphosidae. They live in the daytime mostly hidden under rocks or bark and generally prefer dry habitats. Some species can reach a size up to 20 mm.
