Draupnir

Draupnir ( Old Norse Draupnir, the dripper ') is in Norse mythology Odin's magic ring, drain of the ninth every night eight rings of equal weight. The dwarf Sindri created him together with his brother Brokkr. The ring was of the two together with the golden boar Freyr, Gullinborsti, and the hammer of Thor, Mjolnir, forged during a bet Loki and the dwarfs, which is described in the younger Edda in Skáldskaparmál.

Draupnir is a symbol of wealth and abundance, but also for recurrent fertility. Odin threw the ring into the funeral pyre of his son Balder, Hermod took the ring back from his journey to the underworld Hel back.
