Dražen Marović
Dražen Marović ( born January 14, 1938 in Split) is a Croatian, formerly Yugoslav chess grandmaster.
Marović received the 1961 national championship title in 1965, FIDE awarded him the title of International Master in 1975 the Grand Master title. His current Elo rating is 2445 (as of October 2007), but is inactive because he has not played a game more -evaluated since 1991. His best Historical Elo rating was 2610 in September 1971.
Marović has a degree in literature, he has been working as a chess journalist and author.
