Dream (Japanese band)

Dream, formerly DRM, is a Japanese girl group. It was part of a singing competition, which was held in May 1999 is selected.

History

From the 120,000 Japanese participants who took part in a singing competition of the Japanese record label Avex Trax May Matsumuro, Yu Hasebe and Kana Tachibana were chosen to form the new group "Dream". Her debut celebrated the girls on 1 January 2000 with the single " Movin 'On".

Dream existed until 7 July 2002 these three members, when in May Matsumuro got out of the group to begin a solo career. Six new younger members joined the group: Risa Ai, Erie Abe, Aya Takamoto, Ami Nakashima, Shizuka Nishida and Sayaka Yamamoto. Dream remained until the exit Ai Risa on March 28, 2004, a song and dance group with eight members.

On 25 June 2007, the group decided on a image and change of name. They changed their name from Dream to DRM.

On 22 July 2008, the Group announced that Yu Hasebe DRM had left and that the group changed its name again to " Dream".
