Dreams of Sanity

Dreams of Sanity was a symphonic metal band from Austria. It was founded in 1991 and released three albums before its dissolution in 2002.

History

After its founding in 1991 published Dreams of Sanity first two demos in 1994 and 1996. During the second half they went on tour in Europe before 1997 her real debut album was released, which was thematically inspired by Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. The band released two more LPs, wherein the first with the Phantom of the Opera and the second employs a concept album dedicated to the life as a game. During the recording sessions for the third album, there were significant changes in the line -up, which eventually led to Hall of Sermon terminated the contract. The group disbanded in 2002. Martina Hornbacher Astner also worked with on the 1998 album " Vovin " by Therion as a studio singer.
