Drebsdorf is a town in the southern Harz in the district of Mansfeld- South Harz in Saxony- Anhalt.

Geographical Location

Drebsdorf is located in the southern Harz on the road between Kleinleinungen and Großleinungen on a leash.

History

Drebsdorf belonged to the rule of the Counts of Stolberg and was a village in the Official Quest mountain county Stolberg- Roßla.

1819 lived in Drebsdorf 1865 inhabitants in 43 houses.

From 1952 to 1990 Drebsdorf belonged to the East German district hall.

On January 1, 1970, the city was incorporated into the municipality Kleinleinungen. With Kleinleinungen together Drebsdorf came on 1 April 1974 to Großleinungen. Both Drebsdorf and Kleinleinungen were with the spin-off from Großleinungen on 1 April 1990 again independent communities.

On 1 January 2010 the municipalities Drebsdorf, Bennungen, Breitenstein, Breitungen, Dieter village, Hainrode, Hayn ( resin) Kleinleinungen, Questenberg Roßla, Rottleberode Schwenda and Uftrungen merged to form the new municipality of South Harz. At the same time the management of community - Roßla Suedharz, belonged to the Drebsdorf was dissolved.
