As a rule, let the speeds of the motors simply adjust, either on the motor handpiece itself or on the transformer, which is located within reach.

The usual mounting of tools in the Dremel is a pin axis which is clamped to the handpiece in a collet; Cone and counter cone are excited by axial screw the screw cap. The motor shaft can be locked to a resilient button on the handpiece against turning.
