Germany

Service uniform

The Bundeswehr different now between the service uniform in the large or colloquially as " small " form (formally Great service dress / service uniform basic form ). The service uniform in the basic form (also called Small servant ) is worn with uniform jacket and loafers. Even omitting the jacket, omitting the tie or sweater over the shirt can be ordered ( in case of failure of the uniform jacket ) ( in a shirt with short sleeves in exchange of the shirt ). As uniform for certain official events and military ceremonies ( for example the " Solemn vow " of conscripts ) is the Great service dress, with combat helmet, belt and combat boots (except navy) and possibly take with beret / boat / peaked cap, ordered a helmet.

Depending on the part of armed force ( army, air force or navy ), the service suits differ in design, badges and headgear.

Formal dress

For festive social events of the evening dress is worn. It is approved only for officers and NCOs. This wear it if it is provided for civilian guests tails or tuxedo.

Female soldiers wear long dark blue skirt, a white blouse ( on the right collar of the federal eagle ) with long, crossed over his chest and neck cloth over a dark blue, short velvet jacket. As a modification, a short, white silk jacket in combination with a blue blouse is permitted.

Male soldiers wear the formal dress, basic form consisting of jacket with chain closure, pants with black Seidengalons and " Torerobund " ( Army, Air Force ) or " cummerbund " ( Army, Air Force, Navy) black ( Army ) or dark blue ( Air Force, Navy ) cloth. For this purpose, a white dress shirt be worn ( with concealed button placket, without collar, ruffles and embroidery ), a black bow tie and black, smooth shoes or patent leather shoes. As a variation, a black smoking jacket with black collar and silk with black silk -covered shoulder flaps ( Army, Air Force ) may be worn. The rank characters are worn on the epaulets in embroidered form. The jacket is worn without sleeves ribbons, insignia or other colored marking. In the Navy, the rank insignia are on the sleeves. The corresponding uniform is called in the army starting suit, which basically divides into large ( with plate cap ) and low output suit ( with beret ). Women can wear the suit with starting Uniform pants or uniform lap. For especially festive occasions (such as balls ), the Company will suit called Uniform places with a white tunic to dark blue pants (men) and white uniform jacket and a floor-length dress ( women). A distinction is the starting suit of the dress uniform.

Police
