Drew Bledsoe

Drew McQueen Bledsoe ( born February 14, 1972 in Ellensburg, Washington ) is a former American professional American football player at the position of quarterback. He played from 1993 to 2006 in the National Football League ( NFL ), mainly in the New England Patriots.

Career

Bledsoe attended the University of Washington, where he obtained some records. He was drafted in the first round, the first player from the New England Patriots in 1993. He played directly as a starter, but could win only five of the 16 games with the team. The following year, 1994, was his most successful. He was elected to the Pro Bowl and was All- Pro. 2000 left the Patriots in the sixth round the gedrafteten Tom Brady because of an injury Bledsoes play. Even after recovery Bledsoes played Brady further than starting quarterback. A year later, Bledsoe moved to the Buffalo Bills, where he played quite successful. In 2005 he moved to the Dallas Cowboys, however, where he played a successful season, but then deteriorated and was replaced by Tony Romo. He ended his playing career after the 2006 season.
