The Scotts Turf Builder 300 is one of two car racing, the NASCAR Nationwide Series, a touring car series, discharges annually at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. The other race is the Food City 250 for the first time the Sharpie Mini 300 was held in 1982, Phil Parsons then won the race. In the early years it was still a 150 laps long race, in 1985 it was extended to 200 laps and 1990 finally to 250 rounds. Until 2005, this was the distance to be. In 2006, the race was again extended, are so now to go 300 laps. This makes it clear that the number in the name of the race is in this case for the number of rounds.

It is one of the races of the Nationwide Series, which are instead aired this year on ABC on ESPN2. By 2006 it was shown by FOX.
