Dropping funnel

The dropping funnel is a glass apparatus for the metered addition of chemicals to a reaction mixture. For this purpose, the dropping funnel can be installed by its standard ground to appropriate multi-necked flask. The dropping funnel is available with or without pressure compensation, usually the version with pressure compensation (also called Mariott tube ) is used. The funnel can be up with a plug or a drying tube filled with calcium chloride, for example, close. The inflow of the chemical to the reaction solution in the multi-necked flask is controlled by a valve.
