Dropping Knowledge

Dropping Knowledge ( create or undocumented knowledge / left ) is a non-profit organization that was founded in summer 2003 by director Ralf Schmerberg, the filmmaker Cindy Gantz and activist Jackie Wallace with the goal of a global dialogue on the major issues to create the world. On the website of the project questions were compiled, aimed at an event named " Table of Free Voices" (English for " table of free voices "), which on September 9, 2006 at the Berlin Bebelplatz with 112 celebrities art, science and other areas in the biggest round or ring-shaped table in the world took place with 38 meters in diameter, in order to answer these questions 100.

The responses were recorded, co-written and - if necessary - translated into English. They should form the basis for a web-based discussion forum.

Ask

The main component of the project are the questions which have been collected on the website. The main idea is that only a GLOBAL NETWORK dialog can be started by asking the right question, which can change the world for the better. Currently Dropping Knowledge has collected about 10,000 questions. These questions were evaluated for their relevance to the Table of Free Voices.

"Living Library"

On the project site, a forum was set up in which the responses of the participants of the " table " can be discussed from visitors in order to promote an ongoing discussion about the problems of humanity. Despite the designation of this forum has no relation to the concept of Living library

Media

End of 2010, the project's initiator Ralf Schmerberg released the film " Problema ", which summarizes the key questions and the answers of the participants.
