Drvenik Veli

Drvenik Veli (wholesale Drvenik - also: Drvenik Veliki, Italian Zirona Grande) is an island in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea.

Drvenik Veli is located 1.8 km away from the mainland and is located in the Dalmatian archipelago northwest of the island of Solta. The island was first inhabited in the 15th century. The coast is mainly rocky, interspersed with a few pebble and sandy beaches. The island is serviced several times a day from a ferry of the Croatian line Jadrolinija Split over Trogir. This ferry connects the island with the neighboring island of Drvenik Mali.
