Drymusidae

Drymusidae

  • Drymusa

The family of Drymusidae is only one genus, Drymusa Simon, 1891, associated with 10 species. You are in Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica, South Africa, and has been found in Cuba, Hispaniola and St. Vincent. You can see the violin spider ( Loxosceles, Sicariidae ) similar, but weave them differently as a safety net. Another difference is that it can not be assumed that the members of the Drymusidae family are likely to be dangerous to humans. Along with the families of the Periegopidae, Scytodidae and Sicariidae they form the superfamily Scytodoidea.
