Drzecin

Drzecin ( Trettin German ) is a village in Poland in the Lubusz Voivodeship in the community Słubice.

History

The first written mention of the village dates back to 1284 when the village was the Margrave Otto IV and Waldemar belonged. 1308 Frankfurt acquired the village with 24 hooves and the mill of these. In May / June 1433 the Hussites plundered the place, after they had previously tried unsuccessfully to invade Frankfurt. The village had around 1467 two water, a fulling mill and a bakery and a Lehnschulzen who owned four Freienhufen and a free sheep. The village had a filial church of Kunersdorf, which was equipped with two parish hooves. It was built probably in the late Middle Ages. 1516, a Vorwerk was mentioned in the site. 1554 Alexy Schulz was village mayor.

During the Thirty Years' War the city was occupied by different warring parties. Especially 1631-1644 Change the imperial and Swedish occupying forces out and ask for contributions, loot and pillage.

1651 a school is mentioned in the documents. From 1729 to 1847 ( other details up to 1830 ) the mayor's office of the Hahn family was perceived. This was mainly because the privileges of the office ever disappeared, an unusual compared to the surrounding villages continuity. 1759 during the Battle of Kunersdorf in the Seven Years' War, the town was partially destroyed by Russian troops.

Beginning of the 19th century, the city suffered greatly under the occupation by the French. Due to the demands of the French livestock of the village was extremely reduced. There were 1797 118 horses, 129 oxen, 141 cows, 201 pigs and 292 sheep in the village. These stocks were in 1819 dropped to 41 horses, 66 oxen, 114 cows and 46 pigs. On October 7, 1810 Cirkular was adopted by the City of Frankfurt, which prompted the village mayor, at least one day, at night set up two man guard, to protect themselves against the mob. In 1785 there were in Trettin a Vorwerk with sheep, a bakery and a large mill, a sub- forester, a pitcher and a forge. Just outside the village there was the water mill. Since the town of Forst no longer provided enough firewood for the city of Frankfurt and the surrounding area, began in 1815 in Elsbruch at Trettin peat cutting.

Through an administrative reform in 1873, the village belonged to the district of West Sternberg. 1835 Schulz fief was converted by the Frankfurt magistrate in a Allodium whose owner Friedrich Wilhelm Hahn was.

The district council elections on November 30, 1925 in the village voted 46 for the SPD, 6 for the KPD, 11 Brandenburg for the block center and 224 for the home list. The NSDAP received no voice. In the general election November 1932 voted 17 for the SPD, 6 for the KPD, 88 for the DNVP and 176 for the NSDAP, the center received no voice. Compared to the general election in July 1932 which was an increase of three, the KPD two, the DNVP and the NSDAP by five to two votes for the SPD. The center had not received a vote in July.

The peasant embossing of the place remained until the 20th century. So is the Church of Visitation Report of 21 December 1928: Trettin is a purely agricultural village of 580 inhabitants ....

On 2 February 1945, at 8:30, the first Soviet tanks appeared in the village. However, this met retreating Wehrmacht troops from the direction of the village woman ( Pamięcin ) and was beaten by them. This seven tanks and other vehicles in the Red Army were destroyed. On the evening of the same day then tanks appeared the 1st Battalion of the Panzer Regiment Brandenburg in the village. Also on this day left 400 of about 500 inhabitants Trettin towards Frankfurt.

At the end of the Second World War, the church was destroyed; it was not rebuilt later. By shifting the state border to the Oder, the place is since 1945 part of Poland. In an administrative reform of the place in 1975 part of the newly formed Province Gorzów. A new reform broke upon them and the place was part of the Voivodship Lubusz.

Population Development

In 1785 there were in the village of the leaseholder of Vorwerkes, a Lehnschulzen, ten farmers, 16 Kossäten, 12 House people, two settlers, two shepherds, three shepherds, a blacksmith, a sub- forester and a schoolmaster. 1819 there were 43 houses in Trettin, three mills and 37 outbuildings.
