DSB Class ME

The locomotives of the ME series (II ) with a diesel- electric power transmission are the latest series of diesel locomotives for mainline service the Danish State Railways. In two model series a total of 37 specimens were prepared.

The ME was retired in 1510 after a fire.

The vehicles are technically closely related with the di 4 of the Norwegian State Railways.
