DScaler

DScaler is a free software for real-time playback of digital video sources ( mainly analog TV cards). Goal in the development of DScaler was to achieve the best possible picture quality especially on devices with high image resolution. A special feature are the various deinterlacing filter that significantly better quality than most (even commercial ) programs to TV viewing. In addition DScaler also offers many additional filters to the video signal to improve, for example, noise reduction, sharpening and gamma correction.

DScaler requires the use of analog TV cards no drivers, as it directly accesses the hardware of the chip sets used the map. Although the program is not compliant, but increases the performance and usability of this software.

  • Brooktree BT 8x8 (acquired by Conexant )
  • Philips SAA 713x
  • Conexant CX 2388x
