DSCH motif

DSCH is a musical motif that used the Soviet Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich in his music when he wanted to call themselves. It consists of the notes D - It - C - H, which summarized DSCH results. It is ( Д. Ш. ) Namely in German notation (D. Sch. ) For his initials.

The motif is present in many of his works, for example, in the 10th Symphony in E minor, the String Quartet No. 8 in C minor, the 1st Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in A Minor, 1st Concerto for Cello and Concerto in E major, the 15th Symphony in A major and the Sonata No. 2 in B Minor for Piano.
