Du Pont Motors

Du Pont was the motor of E. Paul du Pont (1887-1950) founded to produce marine engines for the First World War. After the war, you produced Pont Motors high-quality automobiles.

The first automobile by Du Pont, the Model A, was introduced in 1919. Beginning in 1928, the Model G, which had a 5.3 liter eight-cylinder engine with 125 horsepower was produced.

Between 1919 and 1931, only 500 to 600 cars of the brand Du Pont were produced. The company went bankrupt in 1932 and merged with the Indian Motorcycle Company.
