Duane Ross

Randolph Duane Ross ( born December 5, 1972 in Shelby ) is a former American track and field athlete, who specializes in the hurdles.

The greatest success of his career scoring Ross by winning the bronze medal in the 110- meter hurdles at the World Athletics Championships in 1999 in Seville. He crossed the finish line in a personal best of 13.12 s behind the Briton Colin Jackson and Anier Garcia from Cuba.

In addition, Ross was twice fourth in the 60 - meter hurdles at IAAF World Indoor Championships (1997 in Paris and 1999 in Maebashi ) and peaked at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, the semi-finals in the 110- meter hurdles.

Because of investigation results from the BALCO affair Ross has been banned in February 2010 by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency for two years. In addition, all of his competition results were canceled for November 2, 2001 with retroactive effect.

Duane Ross is 1,83 m tall and had a competition weight of 78 kg.
