Dubawnt Lake

The Dubawntsee (English Dubawnt Lake ) is a 3629 km ² ( 3833 km ² including islands ) great, situated in northern Canada Lake.

Location

It is located in the southwest of the Nunavut territory, on the border with the Northwest Territories, and is 236 m above sea level. The lake is drained by the Dubawnt River, which flows into the Thelon River. His entire north shore is occupied by the Reserve Thelon Game Sanctuary. The lake is located north of the tree line in a sparsely populated region and leads to long in the summer ice.
