Dublin Mosque

The mosque Dublin ( Dublin Mosque english, irish Átha Cliath Mosc ) located on the South Circular Road in Dublin, Ireland. She is currently the headquarters of the Islamic Foundation of Ireland.

History of the Church

In the early 1970s, when there was no mosque in Dublin, Muslim students began to contact their relatives and Islamic organizations in the UK and some Islamic countries, to gather with the intention of money for the establishment of a mosque in Dublin. In 1974 a four-story house was purchased, and in 1976 the first mosque and the first Islamic Center was opened. A few years after the founding of the mosque was too small to accommodate the growing number of believers.

The building
