Dubois County is a county located in the state of Indiana in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Jasper.

Geography

The County is located in southwestern Indiana, is located in the south about 45 miles from Kentucky and has an area of ​​1127 square kilometers, of which 13 square kilometers are water surface. History

Dubois County was formed on December 20, 1817 from parts of Pike County. It was named after Toussaint Dubois, a Captain in the War of 1812 and at the Battle of Tippecanoe.
