Dubovice

Dubovice ( German Dubowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers west of Pelhřimov and belongs to Okres Pelhřimov.

Geography

Dubovice located on the western slope of the hill Varta ( 623 m) above the valley of Hejlovka in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. South-east rises the Hosopýl (608 m). The town is located south of State Road 19 from Pelhřimov to Tábor, from the leads from a side road after Dubovice.

Neighboring towns are Čakovice in the north, Stary Pelhřimov in the northeast, Pelhřimov in the east, in the southeast Myslotín, Vlásenice in the south, Vlásenický Dvůr Proseč - Obořiště and Nová Cerekev in the southwest, and Stanovice Čížkov in the west and Pejškov and Lipice in the northwest.
