The Dubysa is a right tributary of the Nemunas River in Lithuania. As of the middle reaches of the Dubysa flows embedded deep in a valley. It is popular for paddling. The water quality also allows for bathing in the river.
Attractions and buildings
The river is natural and not straightened, apart from several small barrages that come from former water mills.
The most striking building is the Built by the Germans in World War Railway Bridge at Lyduvėnai, which is the longest bridge in Lithuania with 600 m length. On the shore there are numerous archaeological monuments, in particular castle hill from the Late Bronze and Early Iron Age.
