Ducati Cucciolo

The Cucciolo, which received the name ( Puppy, puppy ) because of the barking sound of the engine, was the first " motorcycle " Ducati and established the company as a motorcycle manufacturer.

History

To the urge to mass motorization in Italy to meet after the Second World War, Ducati 1946, 48 cc big, simple ( thus cheap ) four-stroke engine began to manufacture under license. This frugal engine was sold both as an auxiliary motor, as well as in the same- moped in several versions, which was built until 1956.
