Duccio Tessari
Duccio Tessari ( born October 11, 1926 in Genoa, † September 6, 1994 in Rome, actually Amadeo Tessari ) was an Italian film director and screenwriter.
Life and work
After a chemical and law school was Tessari producer and cinematographer of documentary films before he (as a scene painter for Sandalenfilme after some time ) went over to the director's chair of movies, which he had also written to rule themselves.
After his own genre Peplum ironic film, ( Cadmus - tyrant of Thebes, 1961), he worked in various genres, where he primarily Italo - Western created some above-average films, eg Ringo the two movies with Giuliano Gemma. In the 1970s, he shifted his emphasis on crime films, where he dark and disturbing examples such as the horror came out of the fog or Deadly hatred created. The following decade saw his move to television, where Tessari dramas staged; occasionally made films for the cinema.
Tessari was married to his second marriage to actress Lorella de Luca since 1971.
