Ducey

Ducey is a French municipality with 2487 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department Manche Basse -Normandie region. It belongs administratively to the arrondissement Avranches and Ducey Canton, whose capital it is.

Geography

Ducey is around ten kilometers southeast of Avranches and in about five kilometers from the bay of Mont -Saint -Michel. Neighboring communities of Ducey are:

  • Saint- Quentin- sur -le- Homme to the north,
  • Les Chéris in the Northeast,
  • Isigny -le- Buat in the east,
  • Saint -Laurent -de- Terre husband in the southeast,
  • Saint- Aubin -de- Tere husband in the south and
  • Poilley in the West.

The southern and western municipal boundary formed by the River Sélune, in the north runs the river Oir, which opens into the Sélune.
