Dudki, EÅ‚k County

Dudki, also Dudki Ełckie ( German: Duttken, 1938-1945 Petzkau ) is a scoring for community Kalinowo village in the northeastern Mazury in Polish Warmia - Masuria, Elk County.

The village located four kilometers southeast of the town Kalinowo ( German calligrapher Owen ) on the road leading to the Borzymy.

History

The place Duttken was first mentioned as a Tangible 1495.

1656 experienced the region around Kalli Owen around extensive by the invasion of the allied with Poland Tatars destruction. In a report on the destruction in the parish Lyssewen it was said to Duttken at Elk Amtshauptmann of Auer:

On May 27, 1874 District Borczymmen was ( from 1881: Borszymmen ) in the course of a Prussian government reform newly formed, which includes the municipalities Borczymmen, Jendreyken, Lissewen, Przepiorken, Skrzypken and Stoosnen and the Gutsbezirk Romotten and lakes. 1908, the municipalities Duttken, Gronsken and Roman Owen and Gutsbezirks Imionken additionally reclassified from District Dluggen in the District Borszymmen.

December 1915 Duttken was connected with its own railway station on the Elk Kleinbahnen that ran between the county town of Elk and Thurowen (until 1997).

September 1928 the Gutsbezirk Imionken in the rural community Duttken was incorporated.

1931 included the District Borszymmen rural communities Borszymmen, Duttken, Geigenau (formerly Skrzypken ) Gronsken, Jendreyken, Lyssewen, Roman Owen, Stosznen and quail village (formerly Przepiorken ).

1933 were recorded in Duttken 204 inhabitants.

Duttken was renamed on 16 July 1938 at the wake of the massive Germanization of place names Masurian, Polish or Lithuanian origin in Petzkau.

1939 Petzkau ( Duttken ) only 180 inhabitants.

After the end of World War II in 1945 to the German Empire ( East Prussia ) belonging Petzkau fell to Poland. The resident population was German, if they had not fled, largely expelled after 1945 or expelled and replaced in addition to the traditional Masurian minority by new residents from other parts of Poland. The place Petzkau was renamed the Polish spelling of the historic city name Duttken in Dudki.

From 1975 to 1998 Dudki belonged to the former Suwałki Voivodeship, then came 1999 on the newly formed Warmia and Mazury.
