Dudley Marjoribanks, 3rd Baron Tweedmouth
Dudley Churchill Marjoribanks, 3rd Baron Tweedmouth ( born March 2, 1874 † April 23, 1935 ) was a British nobleman and politician.
Family
Marjoribanks was the son of Edward Marjoribanks, 2nd Baron Tweedmouth, and of Lady Fanny Spencer - Churchill, a daughter of John Spencer - Churchill, 7th Duke of Marlborough. Tweedmouth was a nephew of the politician Lord Randolph Churchill and a cousin of Sir Winston Churchill.
He married in 1901 Lady Muriel Brodick, a daughter of William St. John Brodrick, 1st Earl of Midleton. The couple had two daughters. Since Marjoribanks had no male heir, went out of the title Baron Tweedmouth with his death.
Political action
After he had served in the Boer War as an officer, Marjoribanks sat since his father's death in 1909 until his own death in 1935 at the House of Lords, the House of Lords. He was also Lord in Waiting by Edward VII and George V..
