Dufferin County

Dufferin County is a county in the Canadian province of Ontario. The county seat is Orangeville. Its population is 56 881 (2011), the area of ​​1486.31 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 38.3 inhabitants per km ². Named the County is named after the Earl of Dufferin, the Governor General of Canada from 1872 to 1878. Located in the southwest of the province, on the watershed between Lake Huron, Lake Ontario, Lake Erie and Lake Simcoe.
