Duhem–Margules equation

The Duhem Margules equation is a statement of the thermodynamic relationship between the two types of particles a fluid, wherein the vapor can be considered as an ideal gas. It is named after Pierre Duhem and Max Margules.

Here are PA and PB, the partial pressures of the vapor of the two components as well as xA and xB are the mole fractions of the liquids.
