Duje ÄŒop

Duje Čop (born 1 February 1990 in Split) is a Croatian football player. Since 2012 he is at Dinamo Zagreb under contract.

Career

Association

Čop attention in 2007 in the professional squad of HNK Hajduk Split, for which he had already played for five years in the youth. After the season, he joined the Portuguese first division club Nacional Funchal. He could not sit down and moved back to Hajduk Split. When, after his return, he was a regular in the first season, it was suggested that a change at the start of the following season, as the new coach Krassimir Balakov no longer mattered to him. Consequently, he dissolved his contract with Hajduk and moved on to league rivals RNK Split, in which he drew attention to himself Dinamo Zagreb. In June 2012, Čop was committed by the Croatian record holder. In his first season with Dinamo he won the Croatian championship.

National

Čop played for many U- national teams of Croatia. Since 2011 he has been an integral part of the U-21 national team.

Others

Cops Father Prior was also footballer and played as his son as a striker at Hajduk Split.
