Robert Duke Osborn ( born 1 February 1897 in Falls Creek, Pennsylvania, USA; † 2 November 1976) was a U.S. American football player. He played as a guard and center in the National Football League ( NFL) in the Pottsville Maroons, the Canton Bulldogs and the Cleveland Bulldogs.

Playing career

Duke Osborn studied at the Pennsylvania State University, where he played football for the " Penn State Nittany Lions ". In 1921 he was engaged by the Canton Bulldogs. A year later, Guy Chamberlin took over as coach at the Bulldogs. Chamberlin went on as a player for the team. The team later a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Pete Henry remained unbeaten in the season in 1922 and won ten of twelve games with two draws. This was the team champion in the NFL.
