Duke R. Lee

Duke regeneration Lee ( born May 13, 1881, Prince Henry County, Virginia; † April 1, 1959 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American film actor.

Life

Lee played 1913-1946 in over ninety movies. The vast majority of these were Western movies. His recent credits include supporting roles in classics of the Western genre, such as The Plainsmen ( The hero of the Prairie, 1936), as well as staged by John Ford films Stagecoach ( Ringo / hellish trip to Santa Fe) in 1939, and after more than six years of film break 1946 My Darling Clementine ( Tombstone / My Darling Clementine ). For the 1919 silent film released drama The Pointing Finger by Edward Kull and Edward Morrissey Lee served as an assistant director.

Duke R. Lee had four children, Beatrice, Duke junior, John Gladstone and Virginia. Two of the four children came from the marriage with Edith Louise Lee.
