Duke Robillard

Duke Robillard ( born October 4, 1948 in Woonsocket, Rhode Iceland, actually Michael Robillard ) is an American blues singer and guitarist.

Robillard first captured in 1967 in Westerly (Rhode Iceland ) as the founder of Roomful of Blues attention. In 1979 he left the band to become the lead guitarist for Robert Gordon. After that, he was briefly a member of the Legendary Blues Band. In 1981, he then founded the Duke Robillard band soon changed their name to Duke Robillard & the Pleasure Kings. After the band in 1984 got a recording contract with Rounder Records, they released a number of albums and broke up again in 1990.

In the same year replaced Robillard along with Doug Bangham Jimmie Vaughan in the Fabulous Thunderbirds, who soon parted it. From then on, Robillard worked as a solo artist, who brought in the 1990s and 2000s a large number of albums on the market. It is pointed out on Chris Flory album Blues in My Heart ( 2003). Since April 5, 2013 he played in Bob Dylan's " band"
