Dumbarton (Scottish Parliament constituency)
Dumbarton is a constituency of the Scottish Parliament. It was introduced in 1999 as one of nine constituencies the election Region West of Scotland, which was re- cut by the revision of constituencies in 2011 and renamed in western Scotland. These minor changes to the boundaries of the North West constituency Dumbarton were made. The constituency includes parts of the council areas of Argyll and Bute and West Dunbartonshire. The largest cities within the boundaries Alexandria, Dumbarton and Helensburgh. The constituency appoint a deputy.
