Duncan Milroy
Duncan Milroy ( born February 8, 1983 in Edmonton, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since November 2010 at the Krefeld Penguins of the German Ice Hockey League contract.
Career
Duncan Milroy began his career as a hockey player with the Swift Current Broncos of the Western Hockey League, for whom he played a total of three years from 1998 to 2001. Then the winger during the NHL Entry Draft in 2001 in the second round than a total of 37 players was selected by the Montreal Canadiens. However, the next two years was the right shooter continues in the WHL under contract, where he went for Kootenay Ice on the ice.
In the summer of 2003, the Canadian was appointed to the cadre of the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League. For the farm team of the Canadiens winger played a total of five years and scored 179 points scorer, including 75 goals, in 346 AHL games. In the season 2006/ 07 Milroy won with the Bulldogs Calder Cup. In the same season he made his debut in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens, scoring in five games an assist for his team.
From July 2008 to July 2009 stood at Milroy ERC Ingolstadt of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract, but then moved back to North America, where he accepted a contract in franchise the Minnesota Wild. But he played the entire 2009/10 season with the Houston Aeros in the AHL, scoring 36 points in 74 games. For the 2010/11 season he signed a contract with the Czech BK Mladá Boleslav, but he left after 20 games and in November 2010 at the Krefeld Penguins of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga a contract signed.
