Duncansby Head

Duncansby Head is the north-eastern tip of Scotland, near the village John o 'Groats. On the steep cliffs stands a lighthouse erected in 1924. Spectacular is Duncansby Head mainly because of its rugged rock formations and rock pinnacles, the so-called Duncansby stacks. In the cliffs nest many rare sea birds, including puffins.
