Duong Van Minh

? Dương Văn Minh / i ( Hán Nom:杨文明) ( born February 16, 1916 in My Tho, Tiền Giang Province; † August 5, 2001 in Pasadena, California, USA ) was a South Vietnamese politician and general.

Ngo Dinh Diem He was under the army chief and his military advisers. In 1963, he led with American approval to the military coup against this and reigned from 8 November 1963 as head of the military junta. But he was overthrown by General Nguyễn Khánh already on 30 January 1964. By 1968, in Bangkok in exile, he was increasingly seen as a representative of a third force.

After the escape of President Nguyễn Văn Thieu and the failure of President Trần Văn Dương Văn Minh Hương was on April 28, 1975 President of South Vietnam again, but it remained to him only on 30 April, the surrender to the Viet Cong and the resolution of the South Vietnamese Government to announce.
