Dušan Fitzel

Dušan Fitzel ( born April 15, 1963 in Bojnice ) is a former Czechoslovak football player and current coach.

Fitzel played from 1983 to 1992 at Dukla Prague, for which he scored three goals in 158 games as a defensive midfielder. In 1992, for two years to EPA Larnaca in Cyprus, for whom he played 42 times and scored three goals here. His career ended in 1995 at the then second division side FK Chmel Blšany.

His first experience as a coach he made with the youth of Slavia Prague. Between 1998 and 2005 he worked as a youth coach for the Czech Football Association, he worked on the U18, U19, and U20 national team as primarily responsible coach. In the U- 21 team, he worked as an assistant. In early 2005 he took over the national team of Malta.
