Dusted (British band)

Dusted is the solo project of Rollo Armstrong, assisted by Mark Bates.

Released in 2000 album "When We Were Young" contains 13 songs that are hardly comparable to the music of Faithless, the band of Rollo Armstrong. The music is heavily influenced by keyboards, with a low proportion of traditional instruments, such as guitar, bass and percussion. Allows it to heal partly spherical character. Produced the entire work of Rollo Armstrong and Mark Bates. The names of the participating musicians on the album are also from another point of view not unknown, because they find themselves in part on the debut album "No Angel" by Dido again, such as Matt Benbrook Skinny, Tim Vogt or Mal Hyde - Smith. And how could it be otherwise, even Dido itself is on this album represented, but only as a co-author of the songwriting of the songs "Always Remember To Respect and Honour Your Mother pt 1", " Biggest Fool In The World" and "Winter ".

For the vocals throughout the songs on this album are responsible Luke Garwood and Rachel Brown, except for the song " Always Remember To Respect Your Mother pt 2 " - Vocals by Michael Harbour. Rachel Brown also worked with Dido's first album " No Angel " with a backing singer.

Apart from the album "When We Were Young" two singles were still released by Dusted. This is the one "Always Remember To Respect And Honour Your Mother " and "Deeper River".

Since September 5, 2005, there is now a new - old album by Dusted. It's called " Safe From Harm " and contains a number of the same songs like " When We Were Young", but also new. The album was recorded almost completely new. Most striking are the changes in the vocals on some songs because on this album Dido sings the vocals in "Time Takes Time ", " Hurt U" and the song " Winter".
