Dustin Lance Black

Dustin Lance Black ( born June 10, 1974 in Sacramento, California) is an American screenwriter, director and film producer.

Life

Black was born in Sacramento, the son of a Mormon missionary. He grew up in San Antonio, Texas. His mother married again and was moved when his stepfather, he moved at the age of 13 years with his family in Salinas, California. During his high school years Black began to work at the theater The Western Stage in Salinas - Monterey, and later he was also in theater productions such as bare: a pop opera worked on Hollywood's Hudson Main Stage Theater.
