Dutch Lauer

Sebastian Harold "Dutch " Lauer ( born January 8, 1898 in Monroe, Michigan, USA; † August 9, 1978 in Dearborn, Michigan ) was a U.S. American football player. He played in the National Football League ( NFL) in the rock Iceland independents, the Green Bay Packers, the Toledo Maroons and the Detroit Panthers.

Playing career

Dutch Lauer attended James Monroe High School in Detroit and studied after finishing school from 1919 to 1921 at the University of Detroit Mercy, for their football team, the "Detroit Titans", he played football. Lauer has been used both on offense, and in the Defense of the Titans. During his studies, he scored 42 touchdowns in 28 games. In 1921 he was elected to the league selection. In 1922, he played professionally in the trained by Jimmy Conzelman rock Iceland independents. Even during the season, he joined the Green Bay Packers. In 1923, Lauer ran for the Toledo Maroons. In 1925 he enlisted in the Detroit Panthers. Here he met again on Conzelman, who owned the team and. Conzelman also served as player-coach of the Panthers. With the team to multiple All-Pro player Gus Sonnenberg Lauer was in 1925 to celebrate his greatest success. The Panthers occupied after the conclusion of the season the third place. After a disappointing game 1926 Lauer ended his career. Dutch Lauer was inducted into the University of Detroit Mercy Athletics Hall of Fame in 1981.
